firstcommunioncatimageAfter weeks of practice, the day for my son’s First Communion is drawing near. A lot of planning has been done and all of us are very excited and looking forward to the big day. As a parent, I made sure that everything has been organized. A white suit has been made custom for him. It was a practical suit as it can also be used for weddings, dinners and other formal events. And of course, to make this special day even more memorable, I made sure that our whole family and friends will be present in the occasion through the beautiful first communion invitations I have sent to them. After the ceremony at the Church, we will have a celebration at our residence to recount the highlights of the event. This will also be an excellent time for Communion gifts to be given, as a souvenir of this special day. This is usually a great time to relax and reflect on what this means to the family and to the individual.
